Matte black paper sliced at intuited intervals. An encounter with light reveals the third dimension of the paper. Intervals appear to be equal but in fact are not precisely so, creating an almost imperceptible tension. Addresses the floor plane as a legitimate site rather than a de facto pedestal from which work should rise upward into yhe gallery space "proper". Exhibited in ""Schwarz" at Thomas Rehbein Gallery in Cologne 2014
